Biography

I am a lawyer located in Córdoba (Spain), and with offices in Málaga and Seville. My main mission is to help companies achieve their goals by overcoming the legal obstacles they may encounter along the way.

I believe that the traditional law firm cannot cover all the needs of companies, and that legal advice should be more than just phone calls, emails and court proceedings. For me, legal advice involves analyzing real situation from the point of view of the company, thus promoting on a different approach in the provision of legal services.

As Couture said: “Law is learned by studying, but it is exercised by thinking”.

I practice preventive legal advice: it is not just about solving legal difficulties, but also anticipating them.

Size does matter, in the business world agility and control are vital. When providing legal services, I believe that effectiveness is not related to size, but to responsiveness. Less is more. Smaller, more agile.

In Law the only constant is change. The lawyer studies to practice and when he practices he must study or he will be less and less a lawyer.

Mine has been a journey from company to company. My parents were and are business people, so before starting my career in the world of Law, I dedicated part of my youth to the family business.

I studied Law at the University of Navarra. Since 2004 I have been in the free practice of law and from then until today my training journey has not finished, far from it. I work, mainly, in Córdoba, Seville and Málaga and focused mainly on Business Law.

I have been gaining experience from all business angles: creation of commercial companies, their daily evolution (customization of company bylaws, shareholder agreements, commercial contracts) and evolution (mergers, divisions and other corporate structural operations) until their extinction (liquidation and dissolution, family protocols). Without forgetting everything related to the Statute of the employer: requirement of corporate liability (individual or corporate), bankruptcy or criminal (punishable insolvencies and unfair administration) or defending against them.

I am aware of the great impact that digitalization in today's society has had on the legal reality (from the use of instant messaging systems, social networks and emails and their contribution in a process before a court, to the way in which emerging technologies can generate new forms of financing for companies).

Lastly, I have had the good fortune and honour of having been appointed by various jurisdictional bodies (mainly commercial and criminal) to act as judicial administrator of companies throughout the entire national territory (pharmaceutical industry, football clubs, dental clinics , public works concessionaires and construction companies, among others).
